Copyright Infringement whaaaaaa--t??

So, today, I got a very shocking message from youtube.

Apparently I got TWO COPYRIGHT STRIKES in my youtube channel.
I was... "Whaaaaat?" and I wondered what kind of videos I got strikes on.

Dear CloveredCinnamon:

Please Note: Repeat incidents of copyright infringement will result in the deletion of your account and all videos uploaded to that account. In order to prevent this from happening, please delete any videos to which you do not own the rights, and refrain from uploading additional videos that infringe on the copyrights of others. For more information about YouTube's copyright policy, please read the Copyright Tips guide.
If one of your postings has been misidentified as infringing, you may submit a counter-notification. Information about this process is in our Help Center.
Please note that there may be severe legal consequences for filing a false or bad-faith notice.

And it's revealed that it's from PolyphonicBranch. And you know what, I uploaded them like 2 years ago. Why now?

I thought the strikes come from a bigger company name like Visual Art's / Key (especially that I uploaded a lot of their stuffs), but apparently they're okay with that, just labeling the videos as "Matched Third Party Contents".

Now, now. Of course I don't intend to infringe copyright or do crimes with that. All I just wanted to do was sharing the song with a valid translation, especially that the songs were not that popular but some people still want to look for them. I just wanted to translate, and the video would look ridiculous if I just put the lyrics in the video without the song. But apparently it is still not accepted as a reason. *sigh*

If you receive three copyright strikes, your account will be suspended and all the videos uploaded to your account will be removed. Users with suspended accounts are prohibited from creating new accounts.

My fear is that there will be some party whom suddenly give me another copyright strike, and bye-bye my channel. I don't even upload as often as before now.

How to resolve a copyright strike and restore your account’s good standing:
• You may wait six months for the strike to expire. The strike will expire as long as you complete Copyright School and receive no additional copyright strikes during those six months.
• You may ask the person who claimed your video to retract their claim of copyright infringement.
• If your video was mistakenly removed, misidentified as infringing, or qualifies as a potential fair use, you may wish to submit a counter-notification.

Waiting, okay, sure. As long as there's no sudden removal or strike like what just happened. Asking the original channel to retract the strike or making counter-notifications seem really bothersome and I think youtube doesn't care that much anyway. How am I supposed to explain it anyway?

Since it's the first time I'm dealing with such situation, I'm pretty much confused now. Maybe I should just delete my channel and everything inside, and let it gooo...

The videos are now already removed so I can't do anything about it anyway. It just doesn't feel good to be treated as "criminal".

The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes.

Honest, when I thought about translating things, I just want to make those medias understandable for the non-Japanese speaker. It's for nonprofit educational purpose.

Aww, shucks. To be perfectly honest, creators, if you keep your jewelries inside your safety box forever, no one can even see them glitter. You might make it safe from all the predators, but then it's breaking the purpose of those beautiful gems.
